They follow the same organization as the Dark Angels. They have the Royal Circle. 1st Company is known as the Cherubim. 2nd Company is known as the Hearlds. Their veterans are known as the Royals, so you have Royal Sergeants.
The Tybalt Core.
It is a system with at least three populated planets or moons. The population levels per world are low but combined they provided enough men to raise a number of Guard Regiments and recruits for the Royal Archangels. As they are Scattered on a number of worlds within a system, the Archangels maintain a small fortress monastery on each populated world and a few unpopulated ones for training, hidden armories, gathering halls, etc... The bulk of the Archangels are Fleet-based to allow them to patrol the system and the outlying areas.
Relations with the population in general is as lords; however, as the marines come into contact with the nobility. They are treated as family members until they become Royals in which case they tend to be treated as the true ruling class and the nobles are just administrators. Scouts are treated as Squires to Marines so they are not treated as well by the population though they are treated a bit better by their fellow marines. This is to encourage them to higher feats of glory to join the ranks of the Marines. Chaplains and Librarians are likewise treated as lesser marines compared to their battle brethren regardless of their actual status within the Chapter. Librarians especially as it is thought by the nobles that there is a taint amongst them that led to a psyker becoming a marine.
There have been a number of incursions by Chaos and Xenos, during the history of the Chapter.
One battlecry often heard is: "Noble to the Core!"
I'm still working on this and thanks to Grand Master Belial for all his help so far.
Here are a few pics of some test minis, they are quick paint jobs. I am still trying to learn to paint, so they lack highlights.
This is what I see the normal companies look like
This is what I see the 2nd company (the Hearlds) would look like
Any thoughts, comments or help would be greatly taken.
Thanks!
