Notes:
Land Raider:
This legion appears to have access to the rare Mark I Land Raiders and actively use them in live combat. Rumours suggest that they might even know how to manufacture them.

Rhinos:
The vehicles of this legion that are based on the Rhino chassis are frequently decorated with angelic carvings which also appear to function as renforced armour. They also appear to only the Mark IIIa Rhino chassis for all of their vehicles.

Dreadnoughts:
This legion has some of the oldest remaining dreadnoughts known to the Imperium. Some dating back as far as the earliest years of the Great Crusade. They are known to use types of dreadnouhts long since forgotten.
Their use of the "Mortis" pattern dreadnought clearly marks this legion as one of the Unforgiven, though it is unknown how long they have been using them.

Supreme Grand Mistress Onisuzume:
Onisuzume is the present Supreme Grand Mistrsss of the Angels of Destruction and she carries the honourific title of Lilium ex Vastatius - the Lily of Devastation.

Onisuzume is one of the original Grand Masters of the Legio Angelis Tenebr and was known as Grand Master Mordekai.
She still remembers the glorious days of the Lion, the Emperor, the Great Crusade as well as the terrible days of the Horus Heresy.

Onisuzume was, lik all Grand Masters, part of the Lion's Council.
And, in the aftermath of the Horus Heresy, the Lion presented the Codex Astartes to the legion and with it the legion was split into smaller Chapters. However, the memories of Horus' betrayal still burning in his Lion's mind, he decided to take all the remaining Dark Angels that weren't assigned to a Chapter with him and persue the traitors into the Eye of Terror. Mordekai was chosen to lead the remaining Dark Angels to the Cadian Gate to await the Lion's arival, who wished to hand the reigns of the Dark Angels to Luther, as well as to see Caliban one last time.

After several months had passed without word from the Lion, Mordekai send a message to Caliban asking why the Lion's arival was delayed. Upon hearing of what had transpired on Caliban, he ordered his fleet to move into the EYe of Terror, taking the fight to the enemy to make them pay for corrupting Luther and the Dark Angels stationed on Caliban.

The Black Lily: The Black Lily is a suit of hand-crafted power armour made by the Legion's master artificers after their arival on Walkura V. In game terms it counts as a suit of artificer armour.
Wings of Death: The Wings of Death is a power armour backpack adorned with a pair of huge wings and incorperates a powerful Iron Halo which is capable of protecting an entire squad of Space Marines. In game terms it counts as the Lion Helm.
Spatha ex Lilium: The Sword of Lilies, is an ancient, powerful sword with lilies appearantly growing out of the sword's crossguard. Probably due to some means originating from the Dark Age of Technology. Supreme Grand Mistress Onisuzume liberated this sword from techno-heretics on a forgotten planet sometime during the Great Crusade. In game terms it counts as the Sword of Secrets.
Heretic's End: The Heretic's End is a master-crafted combi-plasma gun and has gotten it's name due to the many heretics who saw their lives end in the brightly glowing plasma bolts fired by this gun.
Bolt Pistol: Just an ordinary bolt pistol.
Frag Grenades: used against enemies hiding in cover.

Appendix: Walkura V
Location:
The Walkura system is located in the Ultima Segmentum and is roughly half-way between the Ghoul Stars and the Gates of Varl, though a bit more to the galactic "east".

Discription:
Walkura V is one of the few habitable planets of the system, and has a temperate climate. Over a dozen large mountain-ranges, visible from space, are scattered across the planet.

Between the mountains are dense, lush forests teeming with wildlife. The forests are made up of both leaf as well as pine trees, dozens of different schrubs, bushes, ferns, and other plants.

Though the planet is mostly covered with forests, it also has about half a dozen large lakes, which are filled with several species of large fish.

Natural plains and clearings are rare inside the forests, though the ones that do exist exhibit a large variaty of flowering plants and schrubs. One flower which can be seen in almost every clearing or less dense forest is the lily.

Fauna:
Other than the several types of fish(which I will not go into any further) are the multitudes of birds, mammals and reptiles.

The birds which can be found on Walkura V are mostly of the type which feeds on seeds, nuts and insects. They are typically brightly coloured and live in the tall canopies of the forests.

The few birds of prey that Walkura V is host to live up in the high mountain areas and prey upon the smaller mammals and reptiles.

The insects of Walkura V, though indigenous to the planet, bear a striking resemblance to those found on earth. They are typically only an inch or so in length, though a few species can grow as long as two feet.

The reptiles of the planet can be found almost everywhere and prey upon insects, bird eggs and small mammals.
Most of them are only a few feet in length, though a few species are known to grow as big as two yards in length.
The larger reptiles are known to prey upon the birds as well as the larger mammals. Occationally, they attack humans as well.

The mammals are varied. They range from small rodents, to larger herbivores as well as the occational predator. A few of the more domesticated mammals include:
The kaht, a small predator which preys upon small rodents. The aurach,a typical herding animal which is kept for their milk and fur. Or, if killed, their meat, skin and bones. They are also used to draw the farmer's plows or various wooden carts.
The vlf, a noble predatory riding animal which are favoured by the Walkran Valkyrjur.
As well as the Amark, a large canine-like predator which stalks through the forests preying on the large mammals of Walkura V. Thankfully, they are a rare sight, and they appear to be solitary animals. They are greatly feared by the Walkuran population, and almost every town or village has hear or seen of one which could take down a herd of aurachs.

Smija:
Smija is one of Walkura V's moons. It is the home of the Angels of Destruction's forges, as well as its fleet. It is also the most important planetary defence that Walkura V has.

Culture:
The predominant culture on Walkura V is a feudal matriarchy. Its style is reminiscent to that of ancient scandinavia. Most buildings are made from wood, though the most important buildings are made from stone.

The typical structure of a vilage is as follows:
A village has a single leading woman who's word is law.
She is adviced by one or more wise seeresses who also are te lore-keepers of the village.
The seeresses are in turn assisted by any number of males who do the writing and archiving for her.
Next comes the council, which consists of the leaders o the various occupications present in the village, such as farming, lodging, quarying, fishing, as well as the captain of the village guard and the master of the storehouse.

Then comes the warrior caste, which protect the community.
After which the labourer caste comes, both of which are almost exclusively made up of women.

At the bottom is the breeding caste, which is made up of the remaining population, and are charged with producing healthy offspring. Something which is fairly difficult with the newborn males. They are also responsible for educating the children.

Males:
Walkura V is noticable for its population build-up. About 70 percent of its population is female, with the remaining 30% male.

The male population is typically physically weak, and warp blank, as such there are very few tasks which they are suitable for.

The few healthy males which exist are almost continiously used to produce offspring. The birth-rates are roughly equal for male or female babies, though less than half of the male babies live to see their second year. The exact reason for this is unknown, though it is thought to be due to a genetic flaw.

The males which survive are then cared for as a treasure, since they are vital to the continiouing existance of the planet's population.

As such, almost all manual labour is done by the female population, which has evolved to be slightly stronger and more durable than their counterparts on most other planets in the imperium.

History:
The history of Walkura V is long but uneventful.
The planet was probably colonised sometime in M23 by travelers from the north-western area of europe.
Initially, they settled in different areas of the planet, each group sticking with its own, though as the year progressed, they became more and more mixed, untill, eventually, they were a single population. During the same period, their languages were adepted so they could understand each other. After a few decenia, it had become more or less a single language.

The millenia after that have become shrouded by the mists of time, though one thing is for sure: something devastating must have happened since almost all their STC technology was lost. As a result, they had to resort to more primitive means of survival, and, after centuries, it had devolved into the society we have now.

As with all feudal societies, there were probably thousands of wars over the millenia. Though little changed when the Emperor's Great Crusade reached their planet. It was considdered a primitive and backwater planet with little to no important resources, and it was quickly when the Horus Heresy broke out.

The seeresses, however, still tell tales of when the Emperor first arived on Walkura V. They tell of Him riding on a great beast through the night and between the stars. Of how He descended upon a great hawk of thunder and of the Angels that accompanied Him.

The millenia after that were little different from what they were the millenia before.

It all changed in 173.M41 when the Angels of Destruction arived at the planet. The Supreme Grand Mistress landed into the largest city on the planet upon angelic wings.
The seeresses remembered the old legends of the Emperor and His Angels, and spoke that they had returned to them after all that time. Under their leaderhip, the planet was quickly united under their rule, and it continues to be so to this very day.

Language:
The language spoken on Walkura V isn't the typical gothic used on virtually every other planet in the imperium. They speak what they call "vhr gck". Which appears to have evolved millenia before the dawn of the imperium and is mainly composed of what was probably german, swedish, norse and english.

Religion:
The Walkurans already revered the Emperor as a figure of legend, though the chaplains of the Angels of Destruction were quick to teach them that He was their God. They raised a chapels and cathedrals to Him in every town, city and village to spread His word.

Each chapel and cathedral is home to a chaplain or redemptor-chaplain, who's duty it is to make sure that the people believe that the Emperor is a God. Each chaplain also trains a few acolytes, who take over her job when she is called to battle.

This serves a dual function of both protecting the people from the gods of chaos,as well as ensuring that the Imperium will accept them should they rediscover the Walkura System.

Each chapel and cathedral is built in a similiar style. Each and every supporting pillar is carved like an angel, while the walls and stained glass windows depict scenes from both local history, as well as that of the Angels of Destruction.
The entance is always facing away from the equator.
A large stained glass window opposite to the door depicts the Emperor. Underneath the window is an altar.

Walkran Valkyrjur:
The Walkran Valkyrjur ar the knights their feudal society.
They wear archaic plate armour and wield lances which they use to deadly effect from the backs of their vlfen mounts.

They are sometimes taken to battle by the Angels of Destruction, though it is a rare occation when they do so.
Normally they patrol the forests surrounding the towns and villages, as well as the roads between them.

Ancient Relics:
Though the Imperial army stopped only briefly on Walkura V, they left behind a small planetary defence force.
Though the bunkers and bases are now long gone, a ruined hangar is occationally found deep inside a forest. Moss and lichen cover the walls while piping can be seen rusting away.

While whatever was once stored in these hangars has long since turned to dust, a rare discovery sometimes reveals a more or less intact vehicle or weapons cache. Though most of what is found is no longer useable, a few pieces have been found to be in working order. Not the least amongst these are a warhound titan and a fellblade.
