do the drop pods rules in the new space marine codex supercede the "old" drop pod rules with only 10 models in a drop pod? 5 termies = 10 models and
if i wanted to do a deathwing army, do i have to buy a seperate drop pod for 1 model (leader) ( i am wanting to do a drop pod army) or can i attach the leader
to a squad and put the 6 models in the drop pod?

No the Rules in the DA Codex still stands as written. Unless it were to become part of the Errata on the GW FAQ on the website.
Looking through it there is nothing but a few FAQ's that are not rules changing.  |
