If you're starting with just a 1000pts for a campaign then I'd avoid using all three elements of the Dark angels. Ravenwing or Deathwing can work quite well but I'd stick with regular marines with maybe a squad from either of the illustrious companies to support.

Against Plague marines in rhinos I think the best trick is to slow him down as quickly as possible. So try to kill the rhinos quickly. Don't forget that feel no pain is much less potent than it once was and thus plague marines will die very quickly to a battery of AP 2 fire or krak missiles. A single lascannon in a combat squad can also prove very effective obliterator suppression as it can snipe them effectively encouraging them to be a little more careful.

So for a 1000pt starter to fight all-comers but taking into account the guy you mentioned I'd think about the following.

Company master, pair of lightning claws.
Command squad with apothecary and two plasmaguns in rhino
Venerable dreadnought with assault cannon
Full tactical squad with powerfist
Full tactical squad with lascannon and meltagun
Devastator squad with 3 missile launchers.

You can do a few swaps but essentially this list forms a firebase that will counter-charge as your opponent closes. The devastators go rhino or daemon prince hunting initially whilst the lascannon either does the same or looks for obliterators to pop. The meltagun and powerfist squad advance with the company master on foot with the dreadnought for support. The command squad is the all round support that will help prevent units from taking casualties, ld tests and decent fire-support. (Who can also kill rhinos with those plasmaguns with a little bit of luck.) The big unit can form up ahead of the firebase is need be to provide cover as your priority targets are his highly mobile units that also use different criteria for cover. (Very nice trick really.) At long range obliterators are not that good at killing marine infantry as plasma cannons scatter and if you spread out he will only hit one or two. That lascannon should be able to annoy him quite a bit with any luck. The venerable dreadnought and rhino should also make his decision making a little tougher.

Well almost any of the 'swapable' options are worth it. The plasma cannon may seem obvious but never underestimate the vesatility of the assault cannon. It's a better tank hunter than the plasma and against the daemon prince can do multiple wounds. Range isn't that much of an issue as most of his stuff has similar if not shorter effective range and with deployment and movement you'll rather be unable to shoot. Similar things can be said of the autocannon (in particular for popping rhinos) but in the end play a few games with the different options and see works best for you.

Well on following the idea of chaplain with jump pack I suggested this 1000pt list to atra angelus in one of his threads. It's a solid list with plenty of tactical options and quite a lot of bodies for 1000pts.

Chaplain, jump pack, melta bombs 125
Full tactical squad with power weapon, plasma cannon 195
Full tactical squad with power sword, lascannon 200
Full assault squad with power fist 260
Full devastator squad with 2 missile launchers and one heavy bolter 220

Considering your heavy armoured opponents the heavy bolter could be swapped for a multimelta instead.

Squeezing Deathwing into a regular marine based list can be difficult but can work, as can pure deathwing, even in such a small army.
