The forces of Chaos launched a Black Crusade against this system assaulting planet Dagoe III. For long years battle raged across the planet until the Ruinous Powers achieved victory. Comanding the dark forces was Majethon, woeshipper of Nurgle and merciless warlord. Two great wars were fought for the conquest and liberation of the planet, but finally the Dark Gods prevailed.
After Dagoe's III conquest the war reached Taloron, but in this planet the forces of Chaos were unable to achieve the dessive victory they needed to take control of the planet. Majethon was forced to retreat by the tenacity of the loyal forces. But Marshall Thepps, leader of the loyal forces on Taloron, turned his back to the Emperor and took control of almost the whole surface of the planet. Now the archiheretic Thepps seeks to gain control over the whole ppanet and only his rivalry with Majethon has prevented him from doing so.

Taloron rules campaign
Grettins Battle Brothers,
Campaign for Taloron is the continuation of the Dagoe´s Sector campaigns saga. It is a narrative campaign system with some liberty for those players who wanted to play other kind of battles or create his own plots if there is a relationship with the general idea.
How it works?
At the begining it is prepared so that the "Imperial" side play and send results, but...even being a narrative-lineal campaign why the other side dont have to "make it harder"?. For that reason we decided that both sides can send results (but only one for game, for not to get the same twice )
A campaign map exits to have an idea of the theater of war where players fight and to see the scenarie for the kind of mission or terrain to play. We wanted that games not always be the same, not either even!. You dont allways fight a sunny sunday evening ...
There will be scenaries played with mountain terrain with certain limitation for troops, difficult terrain,... and special games with special rules.
In the Tactic map you can see the "combat zones", with a short description.
Each "zone" have defense points that will be reduced depending on the game results, simulating the imperial/chaotic attacks and the advance of the armies on the field. THese points sometimes would be reinforced. The idea is to have a campagin where it is necesary to determine objectives selecting them by priorities, so it could be more or less difficult to conquer them. Thus, with more or less glory the final goal will be reached, or not... Although the campaign is narrative, if chaos forces make a good result the attackers will not get their objectives.
How you decide where to attack...well, we are choosing "leaders" [who will be in charge of receive the results and help with the campaign] who will decide where each battleforce will attack, like some kind of Head Quarters.
It requires to much work from me?
For us yes, hahahaha!! But for you it is simply to send the results from the games played. If you play one game each week or month doesnt matter, we only need any result sent with a list of data. You dont have to play the battles proposed for the campaign, sometimes you can get results at tournaments and send them too. It is only important to send results from the games.
What is the influence of the results that I send?
It depends on your side, but in general the achievement of the conditions required for some battles must be added in the report. According to this, an amount of victory points are granted for your side.
For example, confirmed games (played in registered shops) with the conditions required for that battle grant more points than other results via mail without those conditions.
With all data received we will see how the combats go and we will count the victory points for each side (which represent the army evolution in the field, the destruction of enemy´s troops and defences, ... If you assign more battleforces against the same point it will be easier to "annihilate" its defences in less time.
An example:
It is decided at the 5th turn of the campaign that battleforce "Emperor´s Fist" (3 players) and "Storm of Vengeance" (4 players) "fight" at zone 11 (Hell´s abyss), if there were a defense of 10 they will need 11 victory points with their results (remember that not all the results count the same) to conquer that point in only one turn. If they were unlucky and got less points, it could be two possibilities; 1) they dont advance or 2) they cross but the enemy is retreating (then they will defend another position with the remaining points) and they suffer some penalties.
In the same example, they cross and go to the zone 6 (Kangae Murax). There will be more subzones (urban combat mainly, look here) and the defense is greater, around 30 points in total. This means that the previous objective (that cost hardly efforts in one turn of combats) will require more time (because even with all results with victory they could only reach to 18, for example) or, if they want to do it quickly, more reinforcements. In other words, another battleforces must fight in that zone to achieve the victory points early.
Here is where the strategy of the campaign remains. "Leaders" must choose well which objectives try to get and with which forces. If they attack with all to get one thing they will lose a precious time and the enemy has surprises...due to that it is necessary to plan and spread the forces in order to achieve "warzones and games" more favorable.
How many games can I play?
As you wish, but you should not send more than one result to the same "zone". You can send results from different zones where battles are played (if there are some simultaneously attacked), but no more than one in each zone except in special issues.
If you are assigned in a battle-group it is normal to play the proposed battles for it (to make it more real), but if you are unassigined and you wish to send results you can also do that (for example like tournament games or others).
You have to send results to SectorDagoe@gmail.com
Please, send one only mail per week with all the results and short briefs that you wrote to summarize the games.
You should indicate:
Nick:
Army:
Battleforce (group):
Game played:
Enemy´s army:
Result: Victory/Draw/Loss
Extras: Short briefing from the game (very summarized please, if you wish to write more you can post it in the forum section for background), any photo from the game, any significant data or reference about new ideas for the campaign.
